"There is nothing wrong with Nigeria that cannot be cured by what is right with Nigeria."
- An Adaptation of A Bill Clinton Quote
Projecting the Nigerian People and Values
The Naijaspora Project
Naijaspora is a private-led, no-affinity project that seeks to elevate the profiles of the Nigerian people everywhere by celebrating the greatness of their roots and trumpeting their strides in all walks of life.
The Project is one of the public service initiatives of Babatunde Oladele, a graduate of the Clinton School of Public Service. During his studies at the Clinton School, Babatunde did a stint at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, where he was part of some projects targeted at improving global peace. In the United States, he also participated in developmental projects aimed at improving the welfare, promoting inclusive socioeconomic growth, and fostering an equitable access to the national commonwealth for the American people.
These exposures afforded him some insights into how multilateral institutions and developed nations address socioeconomic issues. Thus, inspiring him to start considering culture-specific interventions that will address some of the challenges in his native country, Nigeria.
